Enrollment Policies and Procedures

If you are interested in taking an online course your first step would be to meet with your school counselor to look at your options and course offerings.  At this time you will also want to complete the WashingtonOnline quiz: Is Online Learning For Me? to find out if you are ready to take an online course.  This online quiz must be taken prior to enrolling in an online course.

So now you have talked with your school counselor and taken the online learning quiz and feel you're ready to take an online course.  Your next step is to fill out an application packet for enrollment and send it to:

Courtney Smith
SW/WC Online Learning Community
1420 East College Drive
Marshall, MN 56258
Phone (507) 537-2259
Fax (507) 537- 6985

Within ten days you will receive a letter informing you if you have been accepted and enrolled into your chosen course. At this time a letter will also be sent to your enrolling district listing your course(s) and hours of instruction.

As the online student you must notify your enrolling district at least 30 days before taking an online learning course.
