- Creative Writing is a semester-long course geared towards high school juniors and seniors in Southwest Minnesota. During this course students will be exploring the creative process itself as well as concepts in writing and revising poetry, short fiction, drama, journals, and creative non-fiction. Because writing is a partner of reading, this course will also require the reading of assigned poetry, fiction, and creative non-fiction via the internet and posted copies. The course will necessitate a portfolio of revised work, and workshop strategies and discussion (online) will be required.
